Folkestone

We completed our 2022 beach challenge today by visiting Folkestone. We’ve gone to at least one beach per month since January.

While L built sandcastles we observed a large group of people on the sand, laying flowers around “No More Deaths” message written in the sand. We looked online when we got home - it was a group of protesters holding a minute silence for the people who died crossing the channel in a dinghy earlier this week.

We had a good few hours by the seaside.
