The Tay Bridge (no 2).
It's been there a long time, unlike its predecessor.
One of our running group is 50 next week so we used this as an excuse to get together for breakfast. The original plan was parkrun first but, in view of the icy conditions, many decided they'd rather not.
Plan B was to meet at the cafe by the river and have a run from there, hoping the ice would be less, but on arrival we found yesterday's slush had frozen very solid and most people don't have spikes for their shoes.
So Plan C was put into action, a walk and chat where it was easier to avoid the icy patches. The walk took us, in one direction, to the rail bridge and a photo opportunity. (I did take some others).
Breakfast finshed after noon with cake and then home, only to go out again not long after to buy bread and a Christmas tree. They didn't have many smallish ones out but we found one we think will fit in the space, we'll see tomorrow.
It was still lovely and sunny so we stopped in the park and went for a run. Care was needed but it was possible to run and I was rewarded with a sunset just as I was finishing at about 1530.
