Blip Advent Calendar - Day 17!

I hope opening the window 17 brings you the same sense of calm that these views did for me as I walked along some of my very favourite parts of the UK coastline.

The blue sky, the sort of winter sunshine that makes you smile, the sound of the waves, the unusual sight of such a lot of icy snow by the sea...simply beautiful.

I am now in my Premier Inn room ready for the Strictly Come Dancing final. I am so looking forward to the pure escapism it brings and the sheer joy that radiates out of the television when I watch it. I know it's not for everybody, but it does it for me!!

Today's quote of the day combines the two elements of my day; the seaside and Strictly!
