Last day...

Apparently this is the last day of the 'Big Freeze', let's hope that it is...

It got down to -6°C last night but the temperature did struggle up to 2°C this afternoon and a bit of a thaw started.

I managed to catch this female Chaffinch this morning, we used to see lots of them but they've taken a knock. I think many have been affected by a horrible virus that affects their feet but happily this one seems to be ok.
