Stumped

When the spaniel and I set off this morning it was minus 3 but had soared to +3 by the time we returned. A welcome thaw is underway. We had a circular walk through the beech woods adjoining HMP Huntercombe  (the prison that Boris Becker was released from earlier this week) and around the 800 acre Ewelme Park Estate where I came across this group of frozen Stump Puffball fungi.
