WE WISH YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Hello Lovely Blippers,

We decided last night that we wanted to sing some carols for you, so here we are practising and I just wish that this could be video-ed so that you could not only see us but hear us all too.

We made a very good job of “Silent Night”, but got a bit mixed up when we tried to sing “We Three Kings of Orient Are” mainly because some of our number, who shall be nameless, were singing the version that goes:

“We Three Kings of Orient are,
One in a taxi, one in a car,
One on a scooter, blowing his hooter,
Following Ringo Starr.”

How terrible is that - it’s almost as bad as singing: 

“While Shepherds washed their socks at night
All seated round the tub
A bar of Sunlight soap came down
And they began to scrub!”

You can see from these two carols that I had trouble keeping everyone in order during the practice - BUT I’m sure that by this evening, all will be well and if it’s not, then certain people will be crossed off Secret Santa’s list, that’s for sure.

Even Elvis the Elf, who says he isn’t naughty, is playing around with his music and kept putting it on top of his head - with a name like Elvis, you would have thought that singing would have been in his jeans genes!

So, in memory of dear Admirer, we have done the silliness and we are sure she would have giggled - now it is time for us to practice really well and get the carols right, so that we can do her and the HCBs proud.  

We wish everyone a very happy and peaceful Christmas and we will be thinking especially of those for whom this Christmas will be anything but happy.

P.S.  If you are wondering who is sitting at the back behind Rufus the Reindeer, we wonder too and think it might be Santa’s brother, because he is wearing a red coat!  Any ideas?  Perhaps he's wants to join our Gang and is trying us out or perhaps he's looking for talent for the next BGT show!
