Bluebells and rainbows
Up at 6, and queuing at the swimming pool at 6.45 with ten people ahead of me. It was sunny though, and once I got the magic raffle ticket for swimming enrolment I treated myself to a cooked breakfast at the supermarket. Back to book the next block of swimming lessons at nine, and then home again!
Miss Pink and I went to a birthday party for a preschool friend at Jimmy's farm. It was one of the most fabulous parties I've ever been to! The party started by a nature trail and the children were able to feed all the animals, cuddle the lambs and stroke guinea pigs. they had a little play in the park, and then went on a treasure hunt in the bluebell woods which they really enjoyed. Miss Pink came back with a fistful of chocolate coins. After some hand washing we went to the roundhouse for the party food. The mummy of Miss Pink's friend had done the most amazing rainbow themed party, rainbow decorations, a beautiful rainbow layered cake, and matching cupcakes, little jars of layered sweeties, and rainbow crayons and colouring. It really was fab, and you can imagine how much Miss Pink loved it. The children had their party food and then had their faces painted. Miss Pink became a purple flower with pollen on her nose!!! When we left we were given a huge party bag with more rainbow goodies inside. One happy Miss Pink.
Meanwhile Master Pink was at Grandmas having a lovely time, and Mr Pink was painting gloss onto the woodwork in the extension.
