Wallace Monument
The Wallace Monument stands on the summit of Abbey Craig, just north of Stirling. The Forth Valley is very flat here, and so the Monument can be seen for miles around. It was completed in 1869, and now is one of the defining features of the City of Stirling.
This view of it was taken from the A91 as it crosses the Forth just east of Stirling. I snapped it with the point-and-shoot; I had the SLR with me but alas no memory cards!
