Taking Time for Making Memories
Hubby had to get blood drawn early this morning. He was out the door before I was out of bed. I accomplished my goal - all gifts in my possession are wrapped. Yahoo! Hubby picked up meds, took his new suit to get it tailored and shopped a bit. He got out decorations and may assemble the tree this evening. We met my sister and BIL at the local movie theater to see The Sight and Sound production of “I Heard the Bells”, a movie about Longfellow and the title song. We were hoping our mother would join us but she wanted to stay close to home. We picked up the rest of Brooklyn’s birthday gift. I plan to get the Christmas cards ready to mail today as well. My Christmas prep anxiety has almost subsided. We still must decorate the tree, make cookies and prepare my part of the Christmas Eve brunch. That should be easy peasy. Wishing you an enjoyable weekend. Thanks for the visit, stars and sweet comments. Stay safe and healthy. From the movie: “Every heart has its secret sorrows, which the world knows not, and often times we call a man cold, when he is only sad.” - Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
