Before the dawn.

Although it was still dark when I set out on the crunchy frost for the Leisure Centre at 6.55am the sky in the East looked colourful. The swim session was cancelled due to staff shortage, sad face emoji. I went home for a cuppa and to fetch my camera then returned to the playing field to watch the changing colours. My blip was taken at 07.40, and as it was -3C I made a judgement that I had observed the most dramatic moments. The colours faded to a cool pink as the sky brightened and I was back indoors eating my porridge by the time the sun rose at 8:17. Another very cold bright day. Best photos turned out to be those taken on my phone camera!
