Winter

I arrived in Shrewsbury on Saturday to care for my sister. Things went downhill very quickly with emergency visit to A and E on Sunday. ( A truly horrendous situation with the hospital being completely overwhelmed and ambulances waiting outside.)
My sister remains in hospital with the possibility of moving to hospice care at the weekend. 
The whole situation is so very sad and at times heartbreaking. The hospital  staff are caring and understanding but there is only so much they can do.
Meanwhile the cold weather continues with temperatures ranging from -7 to the giddy heights of 2.
