Tread the light fantastic!

Not  a parcel bow but the new kitchen ceiling light .  The old neon one has been a nightmare!  It gave up the ghost two days ago and we were using a night light! Today Ro managed to purchase the same sort of light but LED.  We took ages putting it up.  But we have a beautiful white light instead of the dirty yellow of before!  Really pleased!  This is a multiple image of the light over some of the bits form the inside of the discarded light!

Not a day to go out as it was so cold but it was beautiful!  -5C this morning when B was in the car!  I had to stay in to receive a parcel that came yesterday when we were out.  So started on email Christmas greetings!  Later an unexpected visit from B and J delivering C.Cards and another member of the Friday Ladies of old!!  They all came in for soup and bread and coffee and ginger biscuits.  The soft type covered in icing. I was feeling very fed up and it was just the boost I needed!  A good day!!
