A cold walk

The sun was out and I fancied a walk so I wrapped up warm and went. I didn't feel like defrosting the car again as it takes a while so I walked locally. The pavements are still treacherous which means walking in the road most of the way unless you are young and can confidently trot along on those slippery paths without fear of falling.
Main photo is of the former golf course not far from home and the extra is of a very frosty rhododendron bush in our back garden. 
Temperatures barely got above freezing again today. When I went for my walk it was -4.4C in our back garden.
This afternoon I was in danger of just being a couch potato till I decided to put up some of our outdoor lights and ended up doing the lot.
Terry arrived home in the dark with all the lights on and never even noticed even though he walked right by some of them!
Fed up with all the coverage about H&M and I don't mean the store.
