The Deli on the corner

Just a few very short steps from our bright, brash, new(ish) shopping centre, our architecturally eye-catching multi-storey car park and the never-ending to-ing and fro-ing of our modern bus station, there is a quiet corner, a curve in the road that gently takes you into a world far away from the upbeat modernity of it all. Here a few charming old shops cluster on a curved corner of a large Victorian edifice. Living in suburbia, there are very few shops in our area, so I can claim this lovely little shop as 'our local deli'. Lovely.
