Frozen

We had to go into town again (that's three times in less than a week). Business completed, we had coffee in Waterstones then nipped down to Princes Street Gardens to see the Ross Fountain in its winter finery. And what finery! It is covered in icicles from the continuous playing of the water.

Main photo is the classical view, with the castle in the background but extra I prefer, showing as it does the falling water and spray as well as the icicles. The sunshine makes the whole quite magical.
