4.3 Richter again!
Just when we thought the quakes were gradually diminishing in size and frequency after the 3 big earthquakes in our village 2 weeks ago, which I had the good fortune not to be here for, we had another nasty big one this afternoon, 4.3, its epicentre only 2 km away, which is nearly as big as 2 weeks ago and quite a bit closer. The whole house shook, crashed and rumbled, not pleasant! Fortunately not raining this time so possible to hang out in the street for a while afterwards. Then followed dozens of aftershocks all afternoon and evening, some up to 3.5 Richter which is a pretty big jolt. On the earthquake map showing all the recent earthquakes and their size, our village is where there's a mass of orange, yellow, green & blue circles, east of Athens. There don't seem to be any new cracks in the walls but some of the existing ones have got bigger.
