The path through the woods

I started the day thinking it would be a day with not a lot on so I made a Victoria sponge cake and then went for a walk up through the woods. On my return I received a couple of emails which meant that in the afternoon I had more to do than I had anticipated. However,I did get chance to sit down for an hour with my book. It has been a much milder day today and the sun came out after rain first thing.
