Staircase III
I’m so glad I went to this exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art. South Korea wasn’t on my radar until Parasite and Burning, but now I want to go there.
Do Ho Suh plays with ideas of home and identity, to the extent of tracing the exterior of his childhood home brick by brick to make an installation using mulberry paper and using tiny photos of his schoolmates to make wallpaper. That’s what they’re looking at in the first extra.
Oh, and it seems the bloke who replaced me while I’m on leave has done a bunk.
Thanks for hosting Ingeborg.
