Ducks in a Row

I really like the different colours of the Clutha River where it starts from Lake Wānaka. This is the second longest river in NZ ; largest in volume and one of the world’s swiftest flowing. It has a beautiful track running beside it, which I enjoyed on my own this morning as Frida was with Jill. It will be a track to avoid soon as it gets so busy with walkers and cyclists over the Christmas-New Year period.

Today has been a good day to write Christmas emails, after having coffee with my photography friends. Friends from Arrowtown called in this afternoon and soon we are going out for Christmas drinks and nibbles- a favourite activity in Wānaka at this time of year!
