Rules is Rules

We had a Memorial Service at OGH this afternoon.;  

The rules require a volunteer to be on hand at all times for a public event - in case of an "incident".  It's a bit hard when it's an event like this because the last thing you want to do is intrude.  I actually left them to it, and went and did a bit of shopping and got my hair cut, and when I went back I sat in the garden for a while.

Apparently it went very well indeed.  The deceased was 82 and had advanced dementia, but it's still hard on the family.  She was evidently a much loved Mamma and Grandmamma.

Memorials are easy compared with actual funerals - at least there's no coffin to worry about.
