Helter Skelter

Had a trip through to to Edinburgh with a friend today to do a bit of Christmas shopping. Lovely sunshine, bright blue sky and very cold.
The bus through was great, it took 1hr 30 mins from Glasgow city centre to Edinburgh city centre. Coming home we caught the 3pm bus to hopefully avoid the commuter traffic, it took 2 hrs 30 mins with horrendous traffic on the M8.
The Christmas Market in Princes Street Gardens was the usual tat, a mixture of food, drink and gift stalls along with the ‘attractions’ of the big wheel and the helter skelter.
Highlight of the day was lunch at Dishoom, it was fantastic, the best Indian food I have tasted in many years if not ever!
