Doo Da at the Mansion

8 AM Tallahassee. The Governor asked to borrow some of the Brown Collection to display at the Governor's Mansion, Tallahassee. Carol Beck, the Mansion Curator (in the doorway) and I are about to make dust out of the plaster walls in the public entry foyer. We have already installed the Browns' Charles Hasz portrait of a Seminole medicine man. The scene of Venice is about to float away to be replaced with a Herman(n) Herzog landscape of an elegant swamp in Gainesville. (Seems more appropriate than the Bridge of Sighs? Maybe not.) Carol has opened the door to the Governor's private quarters. I was hoping to bolt past her and snap a Blip of Rick Scott in his Dr. Dentons. No such luck.
