(345) Futtle

I visited the Bowhouse market today for the first time and was surprised to find such a range of food, drink and crafts on offer, all of a very high quality. The market runs around one weekend a month (I think) but there are several businesses permanently open on site, including the Futtle brewery which makes farmhouse, foraged and wild beers that follow the seasons, alongside some small batch organic spirits, ferments and soft drinks. Unfortunately, I was driving so couldn't sample anything and, even more stupidly, I forgot to go back and pick up some cans to take away! I did, however, go home with some smoked cheese, a couple of very tasty sounding sausage rolls (not yet consumed) some beer from Wasted Degrees (see extra) and a bottle of SOS gin, which is superb stuff.
