Snow!

We had a good day catching up with things around the house. We even got a Christmas tree. With Hamza dancing the Charleston, I was pretty content.

And then it started to snow! I had be moaning a bit at the snow Edinburgh had a few days earlier, so it was just wonderful to see it gently falling down. After Strictly we went for a stroll and it was even better. People were out making snow people, kids were playing with snow balls and dogs were trying to figure out how everything changed. Including people. There’s always something magical about the first snowfall of the year. People start smiling at strangers, people speak more easily and there’s a sense of community among those who have ventured out to see it all up close.
