This is what passed for daylight...

...for the start of the day!

It didn't brighten up much with temperatures around freezing point .

This meant street photography subjects were limited,  though fortunately people could still be found sitting outside coffee shops (see my extra).

I don't think the two ladies were getting their revenge by photographing me, photographing them!
