Frosty

A sunny day, but cold! I really needed to go for a walk today after two days, and the icy, easterly wind was cutting through all my layers. 

So I walked briskly to get warm, and admired the pretty patterns of ice crystals on every leaf along the way, as well as the blue sky. While trying to stay in the sunshine (even if it also meant staying in the wind), I went as far as the neighbouring village of Frauenstein, where I spotted a big, healthy looking fox, not far from the abandoned greenhouses in the extra. It had been sitting in bright sunshine next to the road, perhaps trying to get warm? 
But as soon as we spotted each other, it disappeared into a hedgerow.
