Ice day

Monday
 -7 degrees overnight (according to my app) but I'm sure it was actually a lot colder and climbing to -3 during the day, with freezing mist hanging around most of the time.
Took the cats back over to Kirkliston at lunchtime.
Our smart meter had reached the dizzy heights of £20 by the end of the day, despite all our efforts to economise by keeping thermostat at 17 degrees, not heating the kitchen, keeping doors closed, not using the oven, wearing numerous layers to keep warm etc. etc.
