Tiny Tuesday

Each year the Macquarie Dictionary chooses a word which embodies the year that’s been. This year it was teal which is a symbol of Australia’s shifting political landscape. It is defined as”an independent political candidate who holds generally ideologically moderate views, but who supports strong action regarding environmental and climate action  policies, and the prioritising of integrity in politics, so called as many of the candidates use the colour teal in their electoral material”. 

I thought I would use it for the tiny challenge of words with thanks to Mary ElizaR 

Happy birthday to our daughter Cathy. We caught up by phone this afternoon. Cathy gave me these lovely beads for my 50th birthday.
