Foggy

A very foggy, icy morning. I volunteered to help walk the children from school to their local church for a carol service. We had a number of casualties along the way, as the pavements were solid ice but nothing serious.

The service was lovely, conducted mainly by the children themselves. There was a slight incident with a young boy and an advent candle. He must have knocked it as he was going back to his seat and he ended up with a head full of wax. Luckily he didn’t set his hair on fire but goodness knows how his mother will get the wax out. The reverend made a joke about it once he ascertained that the boy was ok.

I have always admired the church, as it’s very unusual and I’ve photographed the outside a few times. The interior was incredibly beautiful and I really must go back with my camera and tripod.
