Frost coated roses

Went to Powis Castle this afternoon through the misty, frosty world! Walked around the gardens first as they close at 16.00 and then went in to see the house decorated for Christmas. There was a rather tenuous theme of treasures that the house contained which became the inspiration for the decorations! So in one room it was a picture of Venice so lots of masks and red and green stockings! For the children, not that we had any, there was a felt mouse to be found in each decorated room! No photography in the house!
