Canadian Memorial
I had arranged to visit friends in Worthing today. Although there was snow where I live in Surrey, the main roads were fine and I had no trouble getting there. The seafront is at the end of their road and the Canadian flag caught my eye.
The Memorial remembers the Canadian Servicemen who were stationed in and around Worthing in the second World War. Many were involved in the ill-fated raid on Dieppe in August 1942.
