My old hockey stick

I knew there was a reason I've kept this for almost 50 years. Tomorrow is the  ladies charity fancy dress bonspiel at the ice rink. The theme is uniforms, and I'm sure you can guess what my team are going as :-)

This hockey stick lived in my parents loft after I'd moved out. I lost count how many times my mum threatened to throw it out. It now lives in mine and I've always assumed it's next, and first, outing would be to the tip.
