Backlit

Pottered around this morning and caught up with odd  jobs and admin.
Went up to church this afternoon, no-one came to keep warm (maybe they thought it was too cold to come out) but helped Mr Rat with clearing the drive and carpark. The sun had been on most of it and that helped loosen the sheets of ice but it froze again as soon as the sun moved off.
I'd taken running things and went up to the woods where I hoped, and was proved right, the underfoot conditions would be less treacherous. It was beautiful with the very low sun coming through the trees and the sunset glow on the hills (see extras) but 5k was enough. By the time I'd done, soon after 3pm, the sun was gone and the temp had fallen 2C (to -2.5C so not as cold as some people had it today).
Our evening run was cancelled as the pavements are so icy which means I've had a chance to try out a new crochet technique.
