Dry ride

Angie & Kathi went over to "Walters Horse Paradise" in Hawangen, just a few km away. Apart from having a large horse stable with 2 indoor schools and masses of fields, he tries to do everything on a biological basis (hay & straw), he is a leading member of a group trying to re-biodiversify a very old race of cattle to a particular wet lanscape around the river Günz. He also butchers & sells the meat & sausages, is one of the local official hunters and is very involved in renewable energy. Busy but always friendly & welcoming and he has no problem with us using his facilities, for a minimal sum.
Kathi & Angie took part in a 90 minute Western riding "Trail" practice to resemble typical cowboy work - walking over a bridge, turning in confined spaces, walking over logs, opening/closing a gate without letting the cattle out etc. Traditional English riders who haven't seen western riding, would probably be surprised how little difference their is in the basic riding styles.
I was in very bad shape the last few days, last night would have driven myself to A&E but was hardly able to stand, let alone drive. A very powerful reaction to antibiotics I have been prescribed. Call the weekend GP service and agreed to cease the tablets until I can see my GP on Monday. Not a fan of pills but they were beginning to get at the problem but these side effects were incredible.
