Just playing

J. came round this morning to familiarise himself with house checking responsibilities while we are away. We had coffee and cake and a good chat. I sorted some admin and then went to the painting group in the afternoon but as it is the last session before the holidays, I decided just to play around and do a quick watercolour. It is the view I see when walking back from the ridge that separates our two valleys.
