Frost on the hillside below Montserrat, Stroud

As soon as I got up I noticed a hard frost across the valley. I went to my study window, picked up my camera and snapped a few pictures showing the frost before the rising sun melted it.

I always like the way the sun illuminates the north facing side of the valley, and today it was particularly lovely with the isolated trees still covered with most of the coloured leaves of autumn.
