St Peter and St Paul Ormskirk

I have wanted to have a look around this church for a very long time and today was my lucky day it was open.It is a truly magnificent church with history dating back to the twelfth century.There are three churches in Great Britain with both a tower and a steeple but it is the only one with them both at the same end of the church.

Shopping for new boots this morning and I struggled to get into the local retail park even though I was there before the shops opened.A good sale on in Blacks.Boots reduced from £120 to £80 and when I got to the till a further reduction to £39!I shall try them out on the nursery on Monday and if they are good get another pair to keep in stock.A good pair of walking boots lasts me about six months before the sole is worn flat.

Christmas shopping in Ormskirk this afternoon.
