The map app finds some interesting walking routes. The shortest way from Glebe to Paddington took me along back streets that might have been major thoroughfares in times past. The names stayed the same across pedestrianised intersections, through small parks and veering to the left and right. A topographic map might tell.

I failed wedding guest dress shopping, round 2, but enjoyed running into a former colleague on the way home. She’s successfully scaled down her working life.
