Brrr….

Had a good sleep then a lie in reading the papers. Kt’s cold has got worse so she didn’t go running as she’d planned to, and we spent the morning cosied up in the sitting room with hot drinks. Once T woke up we hung out a bit and chatted then decided to go for a late Sunday lunch somewhere and drove through the thick frost and dense fog to the Cross Keys pub. Delicious roast dinners, then back home and they went back to bed. I decided I had to get out for a bit of fresh air and some steps and took Wilson the cockapoo who they were looking after for the weekend. We marched fast round the country park and lake, only stopping to take photos of robins on snowing branches, frozen teasels and frosty spiders webs. So still and quiet, quite eerie!
Felt better (and warmer!) for doing the brisk walk, then home and watched ‘Write around the world’ on iPlayer that Laura had recommended…interesting idea and lovely glimpses into Southern Italy.
Once they woke up we binge watched the whole of the first series of Only Murders in the Building which we enjoyed.
Good to see photos from AR’s trip to see Matilda and they called at bedtime to tell me about it…sounded brilliant.
All feeling a bit grotty today and it really was cold…even indoors….so somewhat low key day
