Still trucking

It was good to get together with the family today.  Lex and Doug, Sarah and Nick have just returned home from Hawaii, and it's Andrew's birthday. So we toasted to that and to Nick starting his new job tomorrow.  Sarah is at 27 weeks now and looking healthy and fine, although the baby is doing a lot of kicking.

Doug was out visiting his mother when everyone arrived and the boys made a beeline for the trucks, carrying them from person to person and asking each time what kind of truck that was.  But when Doug arrived, it was as if everyone else just disappeared. They only had eyes for Baba, but I was able to read from the trucks ABC book with each of them. All in all it was a lovely visit. Next weekend we will celebrate Hanukkah as a family.
