Chilly

It was a beautiful, if chilly, start to the day. As I looked out over the loch I could see that it was partly frozen. It is a sea loch but very shallow at low tide and it also has a river flowing into the head of it. Hence, when we have a period of cool weather, it freezes. A little later in the morning I drove over to the village and had a closer view of the ice (extra). However, standing in the sun I could feel it’s warmth despite the low temperature. It looks like we’re going to have a few more days of this.
