An old lock used from 1887-1930. It is now blocked off as a new and bigger canal system was built in 1931 to accommodate the increasing traffic on the Great Lakes. Amazing that it is still standing. It was a cold day but we drove to Port Dalhousie to check out some parks and this old lock was in one of them. We then went to a small street in Jordan (in extra) that we knew was all decorated for Christmas. The stores there are too pricey for us but we enjoyed the decorations.
