Below Zero
Husband has a post-London lurgy so I drove solo up to Northants for a Christmas Present exchange with my MiL and family members. Unpleasant driving conditions, a relatively mild -5c but dense freezing fog and the windscreen washers were frozen so I had to resort to sticking my arm out and throwing Evian water at the windscreen whist doing 70. It got me the required visibility plus a wet jumper arm!
Glad to get home to the fire before dark. A dusk patrol of the garden found all the water buts frozen and the late flowering plants all felled.
