Snowy walk by the sea

An excellent and sociable 2nd Saturday Strollers walk from Musselburgh to Portobello, and lunch at a pub close to the Promenade. 

Out first thing in thickly falling snow to fetch a newspaper.

The snow went off before we set out to catch a 44 bus to Musselburgh. 22 people gathered to walk along the coast. Blip from Fisherrow harbour looking West towards the city. First extra is Arthur's seat; second is looking East from Portobello as the sky started to clear. 

After lunch we walked back along more of the promenade past the Seafield works. Went inland at Restalrig, where we got a 36 bus back to Leith Street. In the evening there was rain, which seems to have washed out the snow for now.
