In Eygelshoven a village in Kerkrade every Saturday there is the weekly market. People come from far and wide to this cozy market. Even from neighboring Germany attracts people flock here. The market people speak almost to everyone in German. Sometimes a bit annoying because if you are in Germany just over the border the marketers do not speak to you in Dutch.

But Dutch have always been a people that adapts quickly especially when it comes to trade.
