Son of Nell

After 3 hours sleep overnight, we packed, tidied the hall and headed home, dropping-off a scout who’d damaged his knee in some rough and tumble with a friend. A successful final night of Scouts for 2022. 

We collected Karen who’s home from her job in Saudi Arabia and headed to the wood. Dave and his woodland school pupils were already in situ chopping-down a tree with felling axes (hard work), and we briefly caught-up on news.

Later we headed out in the evening moisture to a Mexico inspired restaurant for some tequila-based fun before retiring to the Star Bar to drink all of their remaining brandy.

Home now and ready for bed.
