On The Bend

Another bitterly cold morning, though beautiful in its iciness.  After a supermarket shop I took the rural route back home, stopping at this bend in the canal to capture the sunrise over the canal.

Then it was a number of jobs at home, including adjusting the new dishwasher that had started to catch on one of the adjoining cupboard doors.

Tonight was the agony of another defeat in the World Cup.  Many factors made it a frustrating evening, including a referee who was inconsistent in his judgment of what constituted a foul.

Finally we saw a picture on social media from Thailand that suggests we might have another family wedding in the near future.
