Dirty Rotten Scoundrels

On TG4 at the moment. I love this film. Was there ever a better example of casting!

It was shot in Nice but also partly in Villefranche-Sur-Mere which is along the coast from Nice. A small seaside town with a row of seafood restaurants along the front. I stayed in a small hotel there many times with my husband where you were served breakfast in the small garden under the lemon trees. From the website, it has clearly been modernised (tsk) but I have happy memories of my stays there. The owner was also chef and he knew his stuff. No menu - you either ordered what he cooked that evening or you could go elsewhere.
