Incredibly cold early morning dog walk , landscape was magically transformed and all good as long as we kept moving ( dog included) . He wasn’t happy as I made him wear his dog coat , he hates it . I’ll rethink it !
Mike and did our turn at the bikeathon in Birr, we were much happier cycling a static bike than singing carols ! Much needed Hot choc after with Susan and David .
Poor ponies didn’t get out as fields were thick with frost all day . I can’t remember that happening before here . At least they have the yard to stomp about in ….. looking grumpy .
Community gathering at Oonagh’s in the eve for a ‘pudding night’ so say goodbye to Lynn and Andrew . Huge turn out because we love puddings….. and parties at Oonagh’s….. and Lynn and Andrew . Ate about 12000 kcals and had some great chat. There was a lot of activity watching the footie in Oonagh’s bedroom , 30 humans , young and old were squeezed in . She does have a very big bedroom and enormous TV!! Late night and ‘take your breath away ‘ kind of cold air when we walked home. Sky was incredibly inky and beautiful with an enormous moon, everything twinkling with frost . Very Christmassy. Getting the tree up this weekend :0)
