Frost

Another very cold morning.

We had a slow start, but after my shower I popped out into the back yard to get some photos.

Later we went to a nearby cafe to get some lovely fresh scones and also picked up some bread from the nearest shop.

After that, I spent several hours in the sewing room, but the output is a Christmas present, so cannot be blipped.  Meanwhile, W attempted to get a fire going in the wood burner in our kitchen, but was thwarted by damp wood.  We've struggled to keep warm today.

W being the hero he is, despite the cold kitchen, cooked salmon, potatoes and veggies for dinner.
